The India-Japan Business Forum is an autonomous body established under Politika and Consilium Research Institute, with the aim of promoting and strengthening business ties between India and Japan. The forum serves as a platform for Indian and Japanese companies to interact, collaborate, and explore business opportunities in various sectors.

The forum operates as a non-profit organization and is led by a board of directors consisting of eminent personalities from the Indian and Japanese business community. IJBF serves as a key platform for the promotion of industrial growth and  to promote the Make in India initiative between India and Japan while balancing the socio-economic environment.

Promotion of Track II Diplomacy

IJBF serves as a key platform for the promotion of  Track II Diplomacy between India and Japan, for fostering people-to-people ties.

The year 2022, is a special year for both India and Japan as both the countries are commemorating 70 years of the establishment of their diplomatic ties. In the course of the last seven decades, Indo-Japan ties have deepened in every sphere under the Special Strategic and Global Partnership. The recent visit to India by Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida for the annual summit reaffirmed the closeness between India and Japan and even laid out a roadmap for deepening the Special Strategic and Global Partnership between the two countries in a post-COVID world.

Therefore, to further consolidate & unleash the immense potential of India-Japan ties, India- Japan Business Forum is presenting, The India-Japan Summit, themed on “India-Japan @ 70: Unleashing Potential, Realizing Aspirations, Rebuilding Together” on 22nd-23rdJune 2022 in the virtual mode under the convenorship of Amb. Vinod Kumar, IFS (Retd.) Former Ambassador of India to Uzbekistan and High Commissioner of India to Fiji, Cook Islands, Kirabati, Nauru, Tonga and Tuvalu & Maj.Gen Dr.Rajan Kochhar, VSM (Former MGAOC) Indian Army.
